Who we are
I, Biagio Mezzero, have been managing the Klosterhof complex in the beautiful cathedral town of St. Blasien as a tenant since spring 2015. Together with my wife Rosella, my family and my team, we run the restaurant & pizzeria located on the first floor of the Klosterhof. In addition, we also run the Hotel Klosterhof. The historic vaulted cellar in the basement of the Klosterhof was extensively converted and renovated. This is now open as the bar-lounge "Klosterkeller". We use the stylishly charming Kursaal for celebrations on a larger scale. But only with you can I fill everything with life. With people who are open to moments of enjoyment and encounter.

This is also our philosophy when it comes to preparing food and pampering our honoured guests. By nature, we only use quality products and fresh ingredients. This makes the fine difference that you, our dear guests, taste. I offer upscale Italian and German cuisine, freshly prepared, with a seasonal touch. Of course, I also serve genuine Neapolitan pizzas and pasta dishes, accompanied by Italian or German wines, and to finish with a grappa or a kirsch, depending on your preference. I also offer a lunch menu that changes daily.
For our hotel guests we have a fresh, rich breakfast ready every day.
The location
The Hotel Klosterhof with its restaurant is located directly in the historical heart of the well-known climatic health resort of St. Blasien. Where once the Margrave of Baden or the high society gathered for their summer retreat, today people seeking relaxation and nature lovers come to our climatic health resort all year round to spend their holidays. Cultural highlights such as the monastery and cathedral concerts or the International Sculpture Symposium have long been known far beyond the borders of the traditional cathedral town.
Hikers on the popular Schluchtensteig trail or the new Albsteig premium hiking trail pass right by the Klosterhof.
Not only the newly renovated, modern rooms but also the restaurant with a view of the spa garden and cathedral invite you to linger and enjoy.
